Role
The Links Land Defence Corps is the land service of the RDFLL and is responsible for territorial defence, ground operations and security of the Realm.

Mission
The Corps provides a disciplined land force for territorial protection, emergency support and joint operations. Its organisation is deliberately light, allowing personnel to form task groups suited to the mission.
Standards
Training places equal weight on fieldcraft, first aid, communications, lawful conduct and the protection of civilians.
